As a complete beginner, I started taking vocal lessons 6 months ago with Lance. In that time I have greatly increased my vocal control, pitch, placement, range, ear, and confidence. He has been extremely patient and provides a comfortable environment for trying new things out, which has been invaluable for progress. He also has imparted on me some of his great musical background which has helped me more deeply understand and appreciate the music I am performing. I look forward to continuing lessons with Lance and seeing progress towards my musical goals.

My son is 6 and has been taking piano lessons from Lance. Lance is extremely patient in dealing with my son's small attention span. My son has learned so much such as reading sheet music and training his ear. He looks forward to lessons every week.

Lance is great! Super kind and helpful. I wanted to take voice lessons to honor my grandma and he has been great at helping me improve my vocal quality. I like that he explains different aspects of how the vocal cords work and visualizing tricks to reach higher notes

Lance gave me good basic tips for the alto saxophone, as this is my first attempt at playing an instrument. He was kind, professional & encouraging. I’m looking forward to working on my homework.

Lance is helping my teenage son prepare for a role in a musical this fall. He has been a great fit--fun and with a great sense of humor and at the same time very skilled at vocal techniques and working the music to create a better performance. Lance offers practical tips and has a flexibility in his teaching that makes him very responsive to questions.

My granddaughter is taking piano lessons from Lance. He is very patient with her and is extremely knowledgeable. He is teaching her to sign the notes as she plays

Quite a lot of improvement so far compared to when I started and noticed by people close to me, even though I would guess it takes still more time and effort to achieve a reasonable level. So a good reason to keep on with Lance. He is patient and insightful in his instructions, and rather fun too. Helping me to improve! I would like to continue improving.

I have worked with Lance for a few months and I want to thank Lance for everything that he has helped me to improve my singing skills. I've been with other music directors and conductors throughout my life, and I can say for sure that he has very sharp ears to catch your mistakes and provide proper strategies to help you improve. He is also very easy to talk to and very encouraging. Just from speaking with him, you can just tell that he is very knowledgeable musically.
